ABSTRACT: The paper explores the application of product-oriented approach by designing English writing course from three units, integrating ideological and political elements into teaching procedures. The three units have different teaching objects, design different class activities and choose different ideological and political topics according to product-oriented approach in order to examine the efficiency and fluency of teaching procedures in product-oriented approach. At the same time, the fundamental aim of fostering students’ virtue and morality and entailing humanistic objectives has been realized.
