Abstract: It mainly introduces immobilized Nitrosobacteria and Denitrobacteria technology in this paper. After comparing some immobilized means, the results indicated that 10% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), 1vol.bacteria in 2 vol. gelatin, 32h crosslinked time were the optimal conditions. Moreover, Waste water contained ammonia nitrogen was treated by immobilized microbial beads that were made in best conditions. The experimental results showed that the content of ammonia nitrogen, nitrite and COD in artificial wastewater was decreased significantly, the ammonia nitrogen removal rate was 85.5% and the COD decrement rate was 84.8% respectively.
