Abstract: A method of Enhanced Dedicated Physical Control Channel (E-DPCCH) detection in HSUPA has been introduced in this essay. The specific unbiased SIR estimation algorithm was derived. The SIR estimation can be done through different numbers of sub frame especially in HSUPA which TTI is 10ms. The SIR Threshold that is used to decide whether E-DPCCH has been detected has also been derived. The false alarm probability and missed detection probability has been given in the condition of the specific SIR Threshold. This essay can provide some references for E-DPCCH detection in HSUPA System.
