Abstract: This paper introduced the ontology theory as a tool for aerodrome control service of air traffic control (ATC) and presented “ontology and SWRL based junior model representation and reasoning of aircraft landing”, and constructed the junior ontology model of aerodrome control service within Protégé by SWRL and SQWRL, reasoning by Jess engine. Finally, through a test case on judging whether arrival aircrafts could receive landing clearance or not, the model were validated.
