Network Group Event refers to the communication process of the internet users’ group around a theme, for the common good or other related purposes, Spontaneous or organized aggregating on the network, creating public opinion, and triggering social action. As a new special form of Group Events, its action scope may be limited to the virtual world, or multi-level interaction between actual situations, its nature can be both orderly and lawful, it also could be disorderly, illegal or even reactionary. Therefore, exploring the incentives and trends of network group events is important to prevent the outbreak of the network group incidents, improve government emergency management capabilities, and thus create sustainable and stable development of the network environment.
