Abstract: This paper comprehensively analyzed pilots’ training status and demand in Chinese civil aviation in the first part of this paper, in order to make MPL implement smoothly in Chinese civil aviation and help pilots finish the transition between different types of aircrafts, get adapted to the actual commercial transpor- tation flight environment as soon as possible, and complete the program design of MPL training. It also in- troduced the research progress, designing method, training concepts and instructors’ responsibilities of MPL training both at home and abroad. At the end, it put forward the principles of design and proposed the training evaluation methods.
