Abstract: Abstract: This paper uses Organizational Ecological Theory to briefly analyze the position and the role of ecological factors in the formation of Jingdezhen ceramic characteristic industrial cluster. With the Analytic Hierarchy Process, this paper gives a qualitative description and a quantitative calculation for these ecological factors. It indicates that, in the formation of Jingdezhen ceramic characteristic industrial cluster, the role of each ecological factor is not balanced. And the limiting factor and the dominant factor play a major role. In various ecological factors, the customer factor, the natural factor, the technological factor, and the political factor or business factor play a decisive role. These factors determine the formation speed and the process of Jingdezhen ceramic characteristic industrial cluster.
