Abstract: Abstract: Core competence of corporation has become as one key factor of success of corporations, but its development in accounting still requires deepening. The paper firstly describes core competence which should be vested in assets element, then discusses the accounting system of core competence, which mainly includes: establishing the hierarchical structure system for identifying core competence according to the characteristics of core competence; the initial and follow-up recognition about core competence; the evaluation and selection about the methods of measuring core competence; setting up the accounts ; and information disclosure about core competence. Finally, it reaches the conclusion that core competence accounting is a new development of accounting field.
