Abstract: Abstract: The widespread internet and popularized accountability system generate the new born “Internet Accountability”. Compare to the traditional accountability, internet accountability has the following features: the unity of openness and equality; base and externality; efficiency and interaction; depressiveness and aggregation. E-government boosts the Internet accountability, with providing it new approaches and new information, raising the enthusiasm of public accountability and increasing the sense of security of internet accountability. Currently, China should introduce a system for the internet accountability, exam the authenticity of internet information and exert the early warning function of internet monitoring in the internet accountability.
