Abstract: Abstract: Based on the fuzzy probability theory in fuzzy sets, a new model for assessing water resource reproducible ability is proposed and the procedure for calculation is presented in detail. In order to assess the index weight of the water resource reproducible ability scientifically, the fuzzy weighted value is established to avoid the uncertainties while determining the index weight. The model is applied to assess the water resource reproducible ability of the 9 administrative regions along the Yellow River and the results are compared with their fact. It shows that the water resource reproducible ability of the Yellow River basin is weak as a whole. The fuzzy probability method is reasonable and the assessing result is reliable, it may further be used in various water resource comprehensive evaluation problems.
