Abstract: Abstract: This paper introduced remote meter reading program often used at present and the characteristics of the wireless transceiver chip nRF903 briefly. A wireless transceiver chip nRF903 was used to design user terminal equipment, group terminal equipment and the control center equipment. The composition of the three equipments was briefly introduced. The capabilities of the three equipments was specified. Combing it with the manner of the current network topology and the characteristics of electricity supply in remote rural areas, using star topology and tree topology combined the form of hybrid topology, using the wireless transceiver chip nRF903 to form remote meter reading network in remote rural areas. Practice shows that remote meter reading system is reliable, meter reading timely. It can improve work efficiency. Its meter reading accuracy rate is 100%.
