Abstract: Abstract: To the 1990-2007 data sample, the paper studies decoupling association between economic growth and environment pressure on the base of decoupling indicators. It helps better adjust all kinds of policies and reduce to produce environment impact by disclosing association among these indicators and trends in different periods, so as far as possibly objective assessing economic growth pressure to environment. Environmental pressure is generally measured by resource consumption and pollutant emission. Environmental pressure is embodied by energy consumption, pollutant and GDP growth by economic growth, and further analyzing environmental pressure decoupling indicators relation between GDP and CO2, SO2, COD etc. We can conclude that China has been in relative decoupling situation in 1990-2005, and maybe decoupling between economic growth and consumption. Trends of CO2 emission is the same as energy consumption’s change, which is a kind of relative decoupling between economic growth and SO2, COD.
