Abstract: Abstract: Using logit model probability theory, and with maximum entropy principle, the programming model under the constraints of utilities and targeted of information entropy maximization was built. Model of inhabitant trip distance distribution based on utility and information entropy was set up through solution the programming model, and proposed a method of parameters calibration based on the Matlab software, they were validated by the inhabitant trip survey data in Suzhou city. The simulative results show that for foot, bike, electric-cycle, motorcycle, bus and car travel are very well.
