Abstract: Abstract: In order to survive from the economic crisis and today’s intense competitive market, logistics companies have to integrate distributed logistics resource quickly to face the customer’s need in time. The major precondition of effective integration is finding and selecting the appropriate logistics services. This paper introduces Semantic Web Service technology into logistics service discovery study, and provides a semantic logistics service description model and a 3-layer logistics service matching model, which enhances the effectiveness of logistics service discovery and fulfills the integration and sharing of logistics resources.
