Abstract: Abstract:Roadbed is the weak link of smoothness to the high-speed railway; however, the road & bridge transition section of the roadbed is the weak link of all the weak links. In the transition section,the smoothness change is the most significant of the railway, and it involves the disposal of adjacent roadbed, bridge abutment and soft bed, so, the problems become more complicated; meanwhile, the practices tell us that the transition section occurs much more problems than any other part, and so, to the part of transition section, it is necessary to take further research and discussion on the technical problems of design and construction. This paper aiming at the quality control of transition section will briefly analyze and discuss the following problems: the aim of quality control, the problems that the design has to solve, the evaluation indexes of detection, the relative problems during the construction control, and their respective solution idea.
