Abstract: In this paper, the generalized function projective synchronization (GFPS) of different chaotic sys- tems with unknown time-varying parameters is investigated. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the robust adaptive control law and the parameter update law are derived to make the states of two different chaotic sys- tems asymptotically synchronized. The scheme is successfully applied to the generalized function projective synchronization between hyper-chaotic system and generalized Loren system. Moreover, numerical simula- tions results are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
