Abstract: Due to diversity in polarization of communication signals, there exist some blind spots in single polarized antenna array receiving. A form of circular arrays is presented to perform DOA estimation on arbi- trarily polarized signal. Different polarized signals are simulated to analyze how array missing would influ- ence on DOA estimation. The paper also proposes algorithm simplification approach based on multi-polarized arc array, which ensures calculation reduction while carrying on DOA estimation accurately.
