Abstract: The operational procedure （i.e. software） plays an important rule in radar equipment, and software faults affect radar tactical and technical performance. In order to test and locate radar operational software faults, according to fault characters in radar operational procedure, the software faults diagnosis model is structured, the way of isolate faults is analyzed, and diagnostic strategy is presented based on report defect information. Practice proves that the method is valid, and can resolve the problems of radar software fault diagnosis.
