Abstract: In the real Multi-user MIMO-OFDM system, there are some problems to be existed, e.g, the inter-carrier interference, co-channel interference (CCI), etc. And the high bit error rate is difficult to satisfy the transmission requirement and system performance. So we proposed a novel idea to replace traditional FFT by using DCT method for the establishment of an MIMO-OFDM system. In the paper, not only channel space multiplexing is made possible, but also the system capacity could be increased to some extent. The simulation results show that the better bit error rate (BER) performance, lower computational complexity of the system and the suppression of co-channel interference can be achieved by adopting the novel method proposed in the non-orthogonal Multi-user MIMO channel on the condition that there are not enough users.
