Abstract: A low-power digital FSK demodulator based on sliding-window technique is introduced in this paper. This demodulator is not only built with a simple architecture, but also has the ability to cancel out the frequency drifting automatically without the help of any extra anti-drifting circuitry. Due to the low-power and low-area characteristics, this demodulator can be a good candidate for low-power and low-cost wireless transceiver designs. Constrained by the data rate the proposed FSK demodulator can properly process, this demodulator is mainly for the ultra low-power wireless applications with low-data rate RF link.
