Abstract: In order to quickly and accurately detect the exudate areas of diabetic retinopathy images, a specific method is proposed in this paper, which consists of useless information elimination based on overall threshold, exudate and OD(Optical Disk) detection rested on connection domain and OD localization with the band-impulse stencil. Experimental results testify the fast speed and good accuracy of this method.
