Abstract: We determine the definition and the closed-form expressions for the second order statistical characteristics of wireless channel in high speed railway, including Crossing Rate (LCR) and Average Fade Duration (AFD). According to a mass of spot measurements and corresponding theoretical analysis, the desired signal subjects to Rice-faded and n interference signals are of independent identical Rayleigh distribution with the same average power. We develop an appropriate mathematical model to describe the effects of the Rice fading and multi-interference on LCR and Average Fade Duration AFD.
