Abstract: Along with the population inflation and global economics’ swift development, the water resources have become the focus of all sides. When measure the water flow quantity through the open canal river course's section, uses the ultrasonic beam to scan it, at present application in domestic is rare, at present the domestic mainly introduce this kind of overseas mature product to measure the water flow quantity, but the domestic mature product is rare. This article mainly through the equipment to measure the water flow quan- tity developed by our country, analyzes the error of the application in Shanxi Yuncheng dayudu and proposes an amendment, further increases the accuracy of the measurement of water through the cross section.
