Abstract: Recently, the studies of intelligent algorithms attract more attention especially for ant colony sys- tem, which is robust and adapts to the new circumstances swiftly. Firstly, this paper studies and analyses the function and influence on ant colony system with classical parameters such as α, β in theory and practice within a random environment , taking TSP as an example. Secondly, this thesis takes number of ants and it- erations as new parameters to evaluate the performance of ant colony system and draws an interesting result. Our goal is to better understand it.
