Abstract: The advantages and key contents of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and switch group man- agement (sgm) techniques are introduced firstly in this paper. On the requirement of existing large switch network man- agement, a simple and easy to realize method which can greatly help the network managers to manage all the devices is given. Finally, on the purpose of concentrated management, these papers introduce detailedly how to use the technology of snmp relay to forward and manage other devices through one device, such that the network management platform and all devices in the network can deliver interoperable.
