Abstract: This article analyzes the spatial correlation of MIMO wireless channel and establishes spatial channel model for channel capacity simulations under the assumptions of Kronecker. Parameters of the spatial correlation matrix model involve angle spread (AS), antenna spacing, etc. In this paper, Angle spread on base station is described by power azimuth spectrum (PAS) with a Laplacian distribution. Assuming Rayleigh fading channel, it derives channel capacity in deferent parameters by combining MATLAB simulation. Results prove the feasibility of this channel model and provide a basis for antenna configuration on base station.
