Abstract: Aiming at the slow convergence rate and big residual mean square error of Constant Modulus Al- gorithm (CMA), Rayleigh distribution Renyi entropy based hyperbolic tangent step-size wavelet blind equalization algorithm was proposed. In this proposed algorithm, the probability distribution of the signals is estimated by Parzen window function and Renyi entropy is defined via using Rayleigh probability density function and used as the cost function of orthogonal wavelet blind equalization algorithm. The weight vector of orthogonal wavelet blind equalization algorithm is optimized via minimizing the cost function. The simula- tion results show that the proposed algorithm has fast convergence rate and small residual mean square error and that its computational load increases rarely.
