This article describes the design of multi-parameter physiological monitoring system which based on PC. It mainly describes the components of the hardware system and the design of software system. This multi-parameter physiological monitoring system could receives some of the physiological parameters which are detected by C8051F340 single chip microcomputer and then transmit all the parameters through USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface. This bus interface has the advantages of high speed, low cost, low power consumption, plug and play, hot swap, reliable transmission and so on. Finally realize the display, analysis and storage of the physiological parameters. It can be full of patient monitoring and diagnosis.
