Abstract: The working principle of WPC(Wet Paper Code) and EMD(Exploiting Modification Direction) is introduced. Improvement is made to the method of the EMD in this paper, which can be used in the embedded information based on DNA sequence. Then, a novel steganographic scheme which based on DNA by com- bining WPC and EMD is proposed. The scheme can implement adaptive embedded, and the receiving party can be easily to extract the secret information in the cases of without knowing the selection channel and the reference DNA sequence. Furthermore, the performances such as embedding rate and security of the proposed scheme is analyzed. Finally, the analysis results show that our proposed scheme can achieve not only good security but also a high embedding rate.
