Abstract: This essay states the technical characteristics of the ZigBee networks, and provides a new solution of Order- Meal System which technically based on ZigBee wireless network by analyzing and comparing the three current types of wireless telecommunication Order-Meal System in catering business in China. The new solution offers a concrete operational method of new Order-Meal System, and the design of software and hardware in this new Order-Meal System. The advantage of this new Order-Meal System based on ZigBee wireless network includes: low cost, low power, high reliability, long communication distance, etc.
