In this paper, we explore the modeling, qualitative analysis and design of the Networked Control System. A novel model for Networked Control System is proposed under consideration of network-induced delay, data packet dropout, and disorder in the transmission. The model can be described as a discrete-time switched system. In terms of the given model, exponential stability condition of the closed-loop Networked Control System and a dynamic controller design method are derived based on the qualitative analysis approach for discrete-time switched systems. Those results have favorable expansibility to some of the existing references.
