Abstract: When emergency occurred, the outsider often missed the best opportunity to rescue the victims after received their messages, one of the reason is that the outsider had no method to acquire the victims’ position as soon as possible. To solve this problem, a design of SOS (Send Our Succor) system was put forward based on Android cell phone. By means of component technology and Location-Based technology to complete sending the SOS message which contained the victims’ position to the predefined contacts through multiple channels. By using Android2.1 emulator to carry out the experiment, the result shows that the solution is feasible.
