Abstract: Based on western regional economy, the paper gives a brief analysis to the necessity of western telecommunication industry transformation. Then, we emphatically analyzed the broadband industry’s effects in the optimization of western telecommunication industry chain and the reconstruction of operation mode. Finally, the paper discusses how to accelerate western broadband industry and puts forward several countermeasures.
