Abstract: A retrieval algorithm of images based on improvement of local accumulated histogram of HSV is proposed. First, select the improvement the HSV color model to express the chromatic information of the images, then use the method of local accumulated histogram twice, finally add accumulation histogram together and average it, use the final characteristic histogram for retrieving. It is proved that the recall-precision and accuracy of images retrieval are improved by the algorithm.
