The soft-sensing network for farmland water potential (FWP) is composed of several nodes and FWP soft-sensing station. The node is designed as acquisition and processing instrument for crop microenvironment information. According to the request of data transmission between the nodes and FWP softsensing station, there are three kinds of data transmission mode can be selected. First, RS-485 wired communication; second, point-to-point wireless data transfer by short distance wireless module; Third, data shifting with large capacity SD card. In practical application, the expected effect has achieved.
