Abstract: For the requirements of reliability and real-time of data transmission with transformer monitoring, this paper presents the design proposal of transformer remote monitoring system based on C8051F020 MCU and EDGE communications technology, and achieves the monitoring of power transformer operation condition. The system has the advantages such as fast transmitting rate, high reliability and good real-time, and meets the requirements of data transmission with transformer monitoring system.
