Abstract: The structure of alloy NdNi2Ge2 has been investigated using X-ray diffraction, TREOR and Diamond. It is shown that this alloy crystallizes a tetragonal structure with space group of I4/mmm and its lattice parameter is a=4.1219?,c=9.8366?. The field dependence of magnetization curve is measured with an applied field of 5000Gs in cooling magnetic field model. The measurement shows this intermetallic compound is paramagnetic with a Curie-Weiss Constant of 25.8 and Curie-Weiss Temperature of 6.24K. The effective magnetic moment is 3.69μB. The variation range of resistivity is 0.3Ω·μm~1.1Ω·μm under the temperature range of 25 K~250K and indicated the compound semi-metal.
