Abstract: Cerium-doped yttrium aluminum indium garnet (Y3Al4.5In0.5Ol2: Ce3+ ) yellow phosphors were prepared by co-precipitation method with metal nitrates as starting materials and NH3·H2O as the precipitating agent. The performances of samples were analyzed systematically by changing the concentration of Ce3+ and sintering time. The results showed that the co-precipitation method is able to reduce the synthesis temperature effectively, and cerium-doped can contribute to Indium instead of aluminum. Completely crystallized phosphors can be obtained by the proper preparation of YAIG phosphors.
