Abstract: Based on LiH2PO4 solubility, a homogeneous mixture as starting materials for LiFePO4 synthesis was obtained by grinding FeC2O4 and LiH2PO4 in aqueous medium, and LiFePO4 was prepared by one-step baking. The experimental results showed that LiFePO4 synthesized at 650℃ had the best discharge capacities which were 131, 127, 118, 107 and 98mAh/g respectively at 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 and 1C rates. Impurities existed in as-prepared materials and the method needed to be modified to improve the purity and electrochemical performance of LiFePO4 materials.
