Abstract: A theoretical study has been carried out with the method of numerical simulation on the gas penetration behavior during the gas-assisted injection molding (GAIM).The influenced interactions of different processing parameters were studied, such as melt temperature and gas delay time、melt temperature and gas injection pressure、gas injection pressure and gas delay time. The results show that: the interaction of melt temperature and gas delay time is more serious to gas penetration behavior. Finally, the optimum processing parameters are: gas delay time 0s,melt temperature 217℃,gas injection pressure 25Mpa,shot size 78%.
