Abstract: By the self-builted underwater-electrical explosion experimental platform, a strong current can be generated in the carbon fiber through high-voltage discharge, what make the carbon fiber exploded underwater. Then the carbon nanopowders are observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). It’s found that many kinds of shape like tube, sheet and so on. Finally, the formation mechanism of carbon nanopowders prepared by this method is discussed simply.
