Abstract: The epoxy resin composites are prepared by adding the 3~5 generations of epoxy-terminated hyperbranched poly (amine-ester) into the E-51 epoxy resin .The effect of epoxy-terminated hyperbranched poly (amine-ester) with different generations and content on the properties of the composites was investigated. Due to the formation of the “hole” structure, the mechanical properties of the composites has been improved, in which the third generation of epoxy-terminated hyperbranched poly (amine - ester) shows the best effects. The impact strength and tensile strength were increased by 96.79% and 12.01% respectively when 7wt% epoxy- terminated hyperbranched poly (amine-ester) was added, while glass transition temperature and decomposition temperature of the composites were decreased slightly.
