Abstract: Microcapsule containing paraffin as an internal phase was prepared by direct preparation process in 100L reactor. The microcapsules were characterized, and the impact of pilotscale experiment on the process was discussed. The thermal analysis results showed that the phase transition temperature ranges from 313K to 353K. The endotherm peak temperature, phase transition enthalpy and heat-resistant temperature are 338K, 114J/g, 523K, respectively. Results showed that the property of pilotscale products is similar with the property of laboratory-scale products.
