Abstract: Photosensitive dye-sensitizer is the engine of solar cells. Organic dye-sensitizers’ price is competitive and their efficience is much higher than others’. On this account, Organic dye-sensitizer received a lot of publicity. This paper introduces the classification and various types of evaluation of Organic dye-sensitizer. Energy spectrum, stability of dyes and red shift in absorption spectrum should be researched for having an effect on energy conversion efficiency of solar cells. This will be a great help on solar cell industrial development.
