This paper introduced the situation of researching the heat transfer performance of porous metal materials with different structures, analyzed and sum up the features of heat transfer enhancement performance of different kinds of porous metal materials. Gasar porous metal is a kind of functional materials with special structure, which has a good all-round performance on mechanics, heat transfer and filtration, what's more the simple fabrication and the low cost provide, it has a widely prospect of industrial application in the field of heat transfer enhancement.
