Abstract: With the social development and technology progress, the research of material selection and preparation methods for the new battery separators have made great progress. In this paper, we mainly discuss the material selection, preparation methods and the use of solar cells, fuel cells, secondary lithium batteries, Li-ion batteries and all vanadium redox flow batteries ,and give a forecast of their future development prospects.
