Abstract: Factors come from matrix and materials were considered in this paper. In combination with previous studies and our experimental results, a strength predicting formula of short fiber reinforced resin composites has been established. To check the validity of the formula, the stale glass fiber reinforcement 191 resin composites specimens were prepared and tested. The test results agreed well with the modified strength calculation.
