This mainly introduced the technical principle and process of core spun spandex in the HF 41-01 -4 prototype spinning machine, and some notice should be paid attention to. As for the three main parameters— the front roller speed, spindle speed, core yarn delivery roller speed, a series of experiments on spinning were carried out, the batter spinning technology was determined, so as to obtain high-quality core spun spandex. Various yarn properties spun under different technologic conditions were measured, it is concluded that, the most affected factor was the pre-draft of spandex and core spun yarn twist multiplier, which should be used reasonable and matching the purpose of fabrics. Low pre-draft may cause the worse elasticity of yarn, while high pre-draft may lead to fiber beheading and make spinning difficult. With the increase of twist, core spun spandex elongation at break of the first increase then decline, there is a best value. Initial results of our research are certainly significant meaningful guiding to the practical manufacture.
