Abstract:	Pluralist democracy is the most important representative viewpoint of American scholar Robert A. Dahl’s political thought. Dahl gives a picture of world democracy in the context of economic globalization with regard to the prospect of pluralist democracy. Although he isn’t very optimistic on the future of world democracy, he doesn’t deny and give up the pursuit of democracy, nonetheless he puts forward some strategies to adapt to world democracy.
