Abstract: System integration, coordination and optimization in whole bring great opportunities to improve the performance of spare parts supply chain system. This paper points out some key decision problems in a two echelon supply chain system of spare parts, which is composed of maintenance stations and central warehouses and is controlled by a scheduling center. These problems, include making demand plans, auditing the demand plans and making scheduling plans, are described by some mathematic models. The demand plans are made by historical demand data and the auditing processes carried out by the scheduling center using some historical data of consumed spare parts, the number of equipment in the maintenance stations and the real-time inventory in the central warehouses. The scheduling plan concerns on determining an optimal path by optimize time and costs. In addition, the business processes and some functional modules are introduced.
